I have a very exciting, newly created role for a Content, SEO & PPC Executive to join an experienced marketing team as they look to bring SEO activity inhouse.

A recent shift in approach to the market has resulted in an exciting period of change and growth, including a brand refresh, updated offering, new website, and a significant increase in brand awareness, events, and general marketing activity.

My client is looking to grow its marketing team to accommodate this increase in activity and seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organised individual to help drive the company’s content & SEO strategies.

There are plenty of bespoke projects to get involved with from day one, as well as the day-to-day activity so you will have a good level of autonomy and authority.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your core goal will be to ensure that the company’s content strategy is effective, search-engine friendly and optimised to deliver tangible results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage paid search campaigns, such as Google PPC
  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
  • Conduct keyword research to guide the company’s content strategy and increase visibility with the right audience
  • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
  • Optimise website content, landing pages, and paid search copy to deliver results
  • Manage off-page optimisation projects
  • Perform ongoing analytics and reporting to ensure activity remains on target and within budget
  • Keep abreast of SEO trends to maximise effectiveness
  • Drive and manage the writing of company content: blogs, press releases, feature articles, white papers, social media activity and case studies as required
  • Provide support to existing team members as required to meet company objectives and deadlines, mentoring and delegating to those team members where appropriate
  • Support in the operation of company CRM and marketing automation platform


Skills & Experience:

  • Professional qualification in Marketing (Degree/CIM) is desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience in a B2B marketing and/or content & SEO driven role
  • Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
  • Skilled copywriter with demonstrable experience in multiple forms of media
  • Experience of developing, executing, and supporting marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Experience managing PPC campaigns
  • Well organised and able to manage own workload, prioritising to achieve deadlines and meet targets
  • Self-driven, results orientated and a passion for excelling in a career in marketing
  • Experience with various content management & CRM software
